Charles X. Delgado

General Counsel

Charles X. Delgado, currently serves as General Counsel. He is responsible for all internal legal functions and administrative oversight of our Internal Audit function.
Previously, Mr. Delgado served as Deputy Attorney General in the California Attorney’s General’s Office for seven years, primarily representing the departments of Real Estate and Corporations, bringing actions against the public for violations of the State subdivisions map act and State securities laws. In 1981, he moved on to the private sector as staff Counsel for Kaiser Development Company. Mr. Delgado was subsequently appointed Kaiser’s Southwest Regional Counsel.
Following Kaiser’s sale in 1986, Mr. Delgado worked as Counsel for the earnest Hahn Company, where he worked on legal and financing issues related to San Diego’s Horton Plaza, Escondido’s North County Fair, La Jolla’s University Town Center and other projects located in Santa Barbara and Las Vegas. After the Hahn Company, Mr. Delgado worked at Ferguson Partners until 2002 when he decided to start his private practice representing corporate and private developers in his general Real Estate practice.
Mr. Delgado earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, CA and Bachelor Degree in Business with a Major in Finance, from University of San Francisco, CA
